What Can a Housekeeper Do for Seniors?
As part of the Caring Companionship services we offer, our caregivers can also takeover light housekeeping duties that are becoming too difficult or time-consuming for seniors or their family members to handle. Though we don’t provide full housekeeping services, our team can assist with numerous tasks including:
Our caregivers will be happy to load, cycle, fold, and put away clothing and other laundry items to prevent it from building up throughout the week.
We can wash the dishes after meals or snacks to ensure there are always clean utensils available in the kitchen.
The food prep areas, tables, and counters within a kitchen space will be cleared off and wiped down to remove bacteria and germs.
From scrubbing toilets and the bathtub to wiping off sinks and mirrors, we can keep your senior loved one’s bathroom spotless.
Sweeping & Mopping
Among the most difficult and timely chores around any home are sweeping and mopping. But we’ll always ensure your hard floors are clean.
Carpets and rugs seem to attract dirt like a magnet, which is why we vacuum to keep them spotless and appealing.
As dirt and dust build up on shelves, ceiling fans, and other areas, they can affect the breathability within a home. We’ll dust and wipe these areas down to prevent it.
We’ll ensure your loved one always has clean towels, bedsheets, blankets, and other linens readily available.
As part of our light housekeeping services, our caregivers can prepare healthy, diet-friendly meals.
